HAJ/UMRAH OPERATIONS |

Aviation Matters personnel have in depth experience, knowledge and understanding of Haj and Umrah operations. We know for example just how important the annual Haj Pilgrimage is for the Pilgrims themselves as well as the respective Haj Committees who are tasked with arranging each operation. Indeed Haj operations are of such a high profile that Governments are involved to a large degree to oversee the transportation of the hundreds of thousands of pilgrims who annually make the journey to Mecca. Unfortunately we know that it is not uncommon for some Haj operations to be organised poorly, often left to the last minute and then trying to source aircraft when there is little to choose from. With the enormous strain that falls on the Saudi airport authorities, it is vital that careful planning takes place to ensure as efficient an operation as possible to ensure minimum disruption to the travel plans of the pilgrims.
